I tried...
Quick repair
Online Repair
Completely removed and reinstalled Office
Completely removed and reinstalled OneDrive
Cleared Credential Managing director manually numerous times (each time there's similar l credentials, all chosen "msteams_adalsso/adal_contect_1" and "msteams_adalsso/adal_contect_2" and so on.
To address the higher up, I have entered the following Registry Key...
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Function \ 16.0 \ Common \ Identity
Name = DisableADALatopWAMOverride
Type = DWORD
Value = i
Now, I don't see these credentials swamping Credential Director anymore, when trying in vain to sign in.
I have not tried to remove all Office products using Microsoft's usual script nonetheless only would desire to go out that as an absolute last resort as I take InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, Skype for Business, Project, Visio and Teams installed also and the tool volition blindly remove all part apps.

Sorted!
Problem was with an obscure setting in OneDrive, FFS.
I merely toggled the "Use Part 2016 to sync Office files that I open" button, waited a few minutes and toggled it back again. At present this annoying outcome is finally over! Urgh.

Had this same problem with a user today, but unfortunately i didn't have time to proper investigate.
Does anyone know how to really recreate the problem, or the condition(southward) that cause it to happen? After an hour fiddling effectually with things on my ain figurer, everything was nevertheless working equally intended. I even used a mifi to connect through VPN, as the user was.

Now later on having washed all the above (including the emptying ALL cached credentials) If I turn this switch OFF the problem goes away.
But as above says if I plough it back on the trouble stays and does not go away.
WHEN the switch is ON I get this.
If I open the file (with the switch ON) in Role Online, no problems.
Desktop and my documents redirection is on and I really do Not want to turn it off.
So correct now I left the switch OFF since it's 100% a Onedrive upshot. At this bespeak I'k not certain how to proceed. I at least got the user working (thanks to the solution above) but information technology didn't solve my issue in my instance.

So if turning off autosave is repairing the challenge for the user then perhaps endeavor opening Word and goto File then Role Account and signout of the account that is logged in activating Office, Sometimes I accept to hit Signout multiple times to get it back to Sign In.
then go to Windows Settings and Accounts - Access Work or School and then remove all the accounts showing except the one for your local Advertizing domain and reboot.
After the reboot open Word and Sign in to Office 365 and then test and report dorsum behavior.

I now take this on ii computers and turning off the feature resolves it. (which is a work around)
Hmmmm
jumping on this thread and I may create a new one. I'd deleted all buried credentials for each user and re-logged in and boom the problem recurs.. i.e. a constant login loop that never resolves. (and I exercise not see the login attempts with a bad pw in my local Advertizing/I don't have rights to cheque upstream in Azure)

For me, this occured as follows:
*On employers network, I set up Onedrive and other Microsoft products on generic group username and password, we'll call it Group Employees.
*There other day our IT guy came in and gave me a personalized username and password, JohnDoe. Every bit our network is Ft Knox style locked...
* I and so had to download Onedrive and Microsoft ext... Immediately, all this happened on bother usernames on the work desktop and home.
Non sure if this helps or was en related but it nosotros worked!
This thread totally saved my weekend. Thanks guys!!
