since it is a parallelogram, co-ordinates of 4th signal can be (fifteen,25), (-5,5), or (-five,25). Now check from options.
The options (-5,25) is as well possible condidate since this option will make a square (a type of parallelogram).
Finally, (-v,25), (-5,5) and (15,25) all look the possible options. How do you really eliminate??

none of the given options are right. Right selection should be (-5,25)
adjacent sides are equal in length and perpendicular to each other. Hence this is a square.

I likewise got the answer as (-5,25) but the options does not have it
so we can utilise the midpoint method too correct
Thanks

(-five,-five)
(5,15)
(-5,-25)
(-5,10)
(xv,25)
From stem,
A(-5, 15)
B(5, 15)
C(5, 25)
There are at to the lowest degree 3 possible point I can think of:
X(-5, 25): Parallelogram=Square=AXCB, where AX||CB, AX=CB, 90||AB, 90=AB
Y(-5, 5): Parallelogram=AYBC, where AY||BC, AY=BC, AC||YB, AC=YB
Z(xv, 25): Parallelogram=ACZB, where Air-conditioning||ZB, Ac=ZB, CZ||AB, CZ=AB
Ans: "East"

Yup there are precisely iii possible points
a) -5,25
b) -5,5
c) 15,25 which is the answer.
Hence E.

Fluke,
I am yet consfused for you lot choosing the tertiary option (15,25). Why didn't you choose the other two possible options?

Draw the given coordinates on the xy plane and effigy out which one will "connect the dot "
(-v,-5) falling in 4th quadrant -incorrect
(five,15) aforementioned indicate as one of the point already the parallelogram -incorrect
(-5,-25) falling in 4th quadrant -incorrect
(-5,10) improper to draw a parallelogram -wrong
(xv,25) correct

By plotting the points one can hands indicate out the fourth vertex as (15,25) making the reverse sides parallel and equal then the right option should be Due east) But I establish this a scrap lengthy..Is there whatsoever other way out

Plotting it does not take long. It need not be exact.
If it takes you long, maybe you should do it a piffling scrap.
The/another other option is plotting it in your heed.

Instead of post-obit whatever rule/formula, this question is much easier if done by making a drawing on the paper.
Without visualizing, information technology is difficult to eliminate the options.

I have got a very simple doubt i retrieve none of the options mentioned are right.
If we consider one of the base every bit A as (-5,xv) B as (5,15) then the altitude is eleven units not by distance formula simply by observation, this altitude should be equal to CD given C is (five,25) hence to keep the distance of CD 11 units the X co ordinate should be either -5 or xvi and not 15..
Pls correct me if i am wrong, yeah merely past quick ascertainment (xv , 25 ) is the correct answer....
Just if computing this isnt......

Why is foursquare not a parallelogram?

Ok.. i don't become it. All rectangles are parallelograms and then with the betoken (-five,25) we are getting a rectangle. So why cant it exist the right answer.

There is a directly formula to solve this question, ABCD is a parallelogram with consecutive vertices (X1,Y1), (X2,Y2),(X3,Y3) AND (X4,Y4)
Then Formula EQ:
X1+X3=X2+X4
Y1+Y3=Y2+Y4
if three vertices are known y'all can find out 4th. but important is to know what are consecutive and what are opposite vertices.

Made a fault in calculating the coordinate. Selected (-5, 10) which should be (-5, 5) but (-5, 5) is not there the choices. And then (15,25) is the answer.
